How to Get Fresh Nutritious Meals Delivered to Your Door

As a busy teacher, I've caught myself falling into a rut of grabbing a take-out pizza, frozen dinner, or sodium-laced grocery deli meal for dinner far more often than I know I should. At the end of the school day, I don't have any interest in searching through the grocery store to find the ingredients I need to prep something healthy and delicious, but I've recently discovered the answer to my prayers. Here is my secret for how to get fresh, delicious meals delivered to your door when you are a busy teacher.

I am in no way affiliated with the GoodFood company and have received no compensation from them for this post. I am sharing it with you today because I'm committed to making life easier for teachers and I love how this service makes that possible, PLUS I can SAVE you $40 off YOUR first order!

Hey, Busy Teachers! Let me share my new favorite thing with you!

I don't love to cook. I do love the idea of cooking, and the final product, but not the process itself.

That's probably because I don't have the time or do it often enough and very rarely have all of the ingredients that I need to put a dish together. One has dried up in the pantry while another is nearly empty in the refrigerator. Can you relate? 😅

How GoodFood Has Changed My Mind About Cooking

I recently discovered GoodFood. This is an exceptional fresh-food company that delivers right to your door everything you need to make a fabulous home-cooked meal.

After selecting my three recipe choices online, I arrived home to a large box on my front step. The packaging was solid, lined with an insulating layer, and included large ice packs to keep everything cold until I could refrigerate it.

Each of the three recipes arrived with all the ingredients we needed in a large zipper bag, the meat sealed in its own package, and a detailed step-by-step recipe card with photos.

The ingredients are FRESH. Most, if not all, of the things in our package looked nicer than the choices I see in the local grocery store.

Two of the meals we have coming up are these Cheese & Spinach Stuffed Pork Chops and Greek Meatballs:

Our First Recipe

The first recipe we prepared was Spiced Chicken Breasts with Dried Cherry Sauce, Roasted Carrots and Couscous.

We were missing the required parchment paper (I told you I wasn't a cook!), so we strayed from the recipe just a little and prepared this stir-fry-style.

We served the chicken and vegetable mixture over the couscous (also included!) and were really impressed with the quality and taste.

And even though this was a "Meal For Two" recipe selection, we had enough leftovers to have it again!
