Make Reading Data Documentation Easy With This Free App

After using a paid app to document my one-on-one Daily 5 conferencing for several years, I decided to explore some alternative methods this school year. Since I already use Trello for other things, this free app is the perfect solution to make reading data documentation easy!

Trello is a free site accessible on the internet, via mobile app (both iOS and Android), and desktop app (both PC and Mac). There is even a Chrome extension to make adding cards extremely easy!

By the way, I am in no way affiliated with Trello, nor am I being compensated for this post in any way. I'm just excited to have found this free solution to my documentation problems and really wanted to share it with you!

Take a look at how I set up Trello and document my reading conference data in this video:

It is also possible to add an attachment to a card. You could record the student reading using the voice memos app on iOS, or even record a video, and upload the recording as an attachment to a new card.

There are additional helpful features available on the website version. In particular, I like to have the cards sorted with the most recent conference at the top of the list so that I can quickly see where the child was at the last time we met.
