Unfortunately, our March Break always falls on the week of St. Patrick's Day so I've never had the chance to do any fun activities with my classes, but that doesn't mean that I don't have a bunch of fun ideas!
I always greet my students with a fun SMART Board attendance screen when they enter the classroom, and I happen to have a FREE St. Patrick's Day file for you! Be sure to click on the image and grab a copy before you leave!
Books are always a great way to kick off a seasonal celebration. Here are a few of my favorite St. Patrick's Day picture books for classroom read-alouds:
Aren't they great? If you have some favorite titles that I didn't include, please drop them in the comments at the end of this post!
After the read-alouds, some fun challenges and activities are in order!
And these art project possibilities couldn't be cuter!!
And finally, my favorite time of the day... Snack Time!
You'll also find some fun writing and word work activities for St. Patrick's Day in my March Writing and Word Work package:
If these ideas aren't quite what you need, there are many other fun possibilities on this St. Patrick's Day Pinterest board:
