Once Upon a Lily Pad

I haven't been a very good blogger lately, but at least this time I have a good reason...! The past few weeks have been far from ordinary. Our entire primary division has been preparing for a performance (multiple performances, actually!) of the musical, Once Upon a Lily Pad.

This gal just happens to be the Queen Turtle. Okay, not really... but my kiddos are turtles in the performance. We started preparing our shells a couple of days ago...

The song we get to sing, "Come Out Of Your Shell", is actually very cute. We've put a crazy amount of time into practices and decorations, but we're going to WOW our parent audience next week, I'm sure of it!
