My students work in table groups and have a community bin with all the supplies they require throughout the day - colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, scissors and rulers. Over the course of the year, colored pencils always go missing, or the packages need to be replenished, and I always end up with a bin full of odds and ends with no great way to manage them. Until now. Here's my cheap and easy
storage hack for colored pencils in your classroom!
Last year I discovered the PERFECT storage system for the extra colored pencils, and it came from the dollar store!
Pencil crayons is what we call colored pencils here in Canada! These little hardware boxes are a little too long for brand-new pencils, but just the right size for the used colored pencils that no longer have a home!
